Wiring method for LED full-color exposed lights

Full color exposed lights simplify complexity and can be freely combined, fully showcasing the advantages of point light sources, making them more widely used in luminescent characters, large signs, dazzling background screens, flower lamp designs, and other aspects, and are also favored by more and more customers; Due to the technical content of full-color exposed lights compared to monochrome light strings, many customers may not know how to wire them during use. A full color project, apart from structural support components, wires, etc., mainly requires the use of full color exposed lights, Sober LED controllers, and LED power supplies in the LED field.

Wiring method for full color lights:

1. Firstly, regardless of whether you are creating a luminous character, a dazzling dot matrix screen, or a contour design, you need to provide the installation location diagram (hole arrangement diagram) to the Sober manufacturer, who will prepare the corresponding wiring diagram (i.e. the order of lamp insertion, which is also the basis for changes in full color lights), and then install according to the order and position of each lamp on the wiring diagram. This cannot be changed arbitrarily to avoid confusion in the later changes.

2. Sober full color exposed lights are usually 50 in each string, with one pair of connectors at each end of each string (the end with a pin inside is called a male head, and the end with a socket is called a female head). By default, the male head is usually the signal input end, and the female head is the signal output end, which needs to be clearly distinguished; The PCB inside the lamp is also marked with an arrow to indicate the direction of signal transmission, which can also be used to determine the input and output ports.

3. Controller wiring method 1: Cut off the male port of the first string of lights in the controller, where there are three wires: green wire, blue wire, and white wire (this color is non-standard, and the wire color used for different light strings can be different). Connect the green wire to the "Data DAT" on the controller, the blue wire to the "Ground GND", and the white wire to wrap the wire head and leave it empty (note: this is a backup signal wire, and the wire on the first light does not need to be connected); In addition to the three wires of the male terminal, the other two wires, one red and one blue, are the positive and negative poles that supply power to the lamp, and can be connected to a DC5V power supply. The specific legend is shown in the following figure:

4. Controller wiring method 2: Sometimes we cut the middle of a string of lights, which turns into four wires: red wire, white wire, green wire, and blue wire; In this case, we need to prepare a small section of electronic wire (replaced by a black wire here), connect the green wire to the "data DAT" on the controller, connect one end of the black wire and the blue wire together to the "ground wire GND" on the controller, wrap the white wire around the wire head and leave it empty. Then, connect the other end of the remaining red and black wires to the DC5V power supply. The specific legend is shown in the following figure:
